The ex-EastEnders star, whose brother Ben was stabbed to death in 2008, recently became a government adviser. She has been investigating whether projects aimed at tackling youth violence are working and has now handed her report to the home secretary.

Absolutely correct, prevention is the way forward. Once involved in crime, knives,gangs etc it is so hard to get out. Let us try and prevent the youngsters getting involved in the first place. I have been delivering presentations all over for a while especially in Nth London, Beds and Northants. It does work!
